Summary of Profile
Ajibola Ogunbiyi holds a B.Sc in Chemical Engineering from University of Lagos, Akoka (2007). He worked for a while at Zenith Bank Plc, Lagos, where he acquired some business/management skills before proceeding to Cranfield University, United Kingdom for his MSc degree in Process Systems Engineering (2012). He then attended an intensive, professional training in Drilling and Completion Engineering at the famous Institut Français du Pétrole (IFP) Training, in Pau, France, at the end of which he became an International Well Control Forum (IWCF) certified supervisor in Surface and Subsea BOP Stack. He immediately proceeded to the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), NNPC’s upstream arm, where he garnered quality upstream oilfield experience in drilling, completion and workover operations as a drilling engineer on internship. He also worked as a project/business development engineer in charge of drilling/wellsite services at Makunu Oil & Allied Products, Lagos. He presently works as a lecturer in the Chemical Engineering Department of Covenant University, Canaanland, Ota where he has recently commenced his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering. His general research interests in multiphase flows, renewable energy and modeling & simulation of chemical process systems.
